We cannot forget the online marketing, which help raise awareness and win the presidential campaign for Barak Obama.

Tons of publicity has been cycled through the internet in various forms, such as video and text, promoting the 2008 presidential campaign. Anyone can go to their candidate’s website and learn more about their politics and anything else they can imagine. Even searches bring up millions of results specific to each campaign. This was due to the extensive search engine optimization that was performed for each candidate.

Old-school advertising techniques were brought to the 21st century through the internet. Now every ad placed on TV, magazines, and radio are available for viewing on the internet. This makes learning about candidates much easier and faster. The new age is amazing!
