</p><p>If you’re going to spend so much time writing a blog for your business, why not convert that same energy into writing a book? In fact, do the two at once. Consider making your blog posts future chapters of a book to showcase your expertise and skills.  It’s not a new idea, we just hope to motivate you a bit to keep going or get started.</p>

<h2>Start with an Outline</h2>
<hr />
<p>Start with a rough outline. It’s rough, because your readers’ feedback and comments will help shape your book. You don’t want to leave it totally up to them to decide the topics though, because you’ll lose control and it will be hard to finish the book. While a novel might work well that way, it may not work as well for a business book.</p>
<hr />
<h2>Write 500 Words a Day</h2>
<hr />
<p>After you write your outline, start writing 500 word articles each day on a topic and post them. You’ll compile those articles to make up your chapters down the road, and you may decide not to use some. It’s a win-win for you, because you still have great content for your blog. Make sure it’s search engine optimized, and you can edit it out when you’re ready to make it a book, or leave those keywords in.</p>
<p>Don’t worry about doing the chapters in order. You’ll worry about that when you go to compile the book. The main thing is to form the habit of writing 500 words a day and finish the book that you know you need to write for your business.  Before you know it, on a 5 day a week schedule, you’ll hit 60,000 words in 120 days, which is more than good enough for your first business book.</p>

</p><p>Blogs are becoming more popular by the minute; for each subject of  interest, there is bound to be something out there to satisfy that taste. But it is not enough to simply exist and hope that visitors will find you. There is so much competition out there that this approach will prove fruitless in the end. You need to take advantage of the things the internet has to offer, one of those being <a target="_blank" href="http://twitter.com">Twitter</a>. This social site may be fun and easy to use, but for bloggers, it needs to take on a whole new meaning. You must use Twitter to your advantage, and know what should be done to make people pay attention to your blog.</p>

<h2>1. Keep anyone who is following your account interested by asking them questions.</h2>
<hr />For instance, you may want to inquire about how many times they post to Twitter each day. Or, if you would like to involve your blog in the subject, ask them if there is something they would change about your layout if they had control. No matter what you choose to use, link your followers directly to your blog for them to answer the question. Let time pass for everyone to be able to take part, and then post the results on Twitter. In this way, people will have a sense of being involved, which will make you look good in the long run.</p>

<h2>2. Make your Twitter account useful.</h2>
<hr />You should not be the topic of every single thing that you post; that will just annoy people, and they will find you somebody that they will not want to associate with Instead of constantly letting people know that your blog has been updated, also provide links other blogs as well. Search the internet for links that your followers may find interesting, provide inspirational quotes, and so on. By showing that there is more to you than your site, there will be something for everybody to enjoy.</p>

<h2>3. Post as often as you can.</h2>
<hr />If you wait until days, if not months, have passed between writing any messages, it will be assumed that you are no longer active. Try to have something up once a day, or at least a few times a week. It need not be poetry, and you need not strain your brain trying to come up with something clever. Just make sure that there is no doubt that you are still up and about, or your blog could suffer as a result.</p>

<h2>4. Choose your words carefully when posting on Twitter.</h2>
<hr />Never portray hostility or anger; your reputation, whatever it may be, could be greatly damaged by a slip of the keyboard. If you have a beef with someone, do not make it public. If there is something about your family that you hate with a passion, do not share it. Be among the Twitter writers who share with their readers, but never reveal too much. Nobody wants to be seen as unprofessional or hostile.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Tag clouds have become more popular as websites begin to use them to help organize their keywords in an easy to read manner for their readers.</p>
<p>First used by <a target="_blank" href="http://www.flikr%20.com/">Flikr </a>the website they have since grown. Tag clouds are a nice feature for a blog or website as it <a target="_blank" href="http://www.seooptimizers.com/keyword-research.html">organizes major keywords into clickable links</a>, making it easy to find and search for topics/ categories.</p>
<p>It is easy to set up what has now become popularized and known as the tag or label cloud. Basically it is a dynamic area which displays your prominent keywords in a easy to read, fun fashion. It allows for quick navigation to a selected topic on your page. What I will explain is how to add this cloud to your Google Blogger account. You can see an example of this on my blog to the right side where it says Label Cloud.</p>
<p>Since Word press has a plug-in for this, blogger users need to hand hack the code. Don’t worry it is easy to do and takes less than 10 minutes to do.</p>

<p>First you need to have a Blogger Account and must be using the layout templates. It does not work if you do not have any posts or and tags/labels in your posts. So before you install this make a few posts and add some labels.</p>
<p>Then go to you Blogger Account and go to &#8220;Layout&#8221;. From there you should click on &#8220;Add A Gadget&#8221;. Add the &#8220;Labels&#8221; widget to your blog. Now save your changes and click on the link on the top navigation menu that reads &#8220;Edit HTML&#8221;. Once here it is highly recommended to back-up your files. You can do so by clicking on &#8220;Download Full Template&#8221; and saving it somewhere just in case you screw up the code.</p>
<p>Once this has been done you are ready to add to the HTML. Don&#8217;t worry it is basic HTML, where you only need to add or remove lines of code. You will not be doing any actual coding. There will be a ckeckbox that says &#8220;Expand Widget Templates&#8221;. Leave this box unchecked as it will simplify things.</p>
<p>The code is broken down into three sections; the stylesheet, a configurations section, and the actual widget.</p>
<p>The easiest way to add the code is to first search for the area of HTML that needs to be modified. To do so hold down the control button + f and a find box will appear asking what you are looking for. Enter the section of HTML you are trying to find and you will be instantly brough to it. You will not have to search around for hours trying to find the specific code block.</p>
<p>The first step is adding a snippet of code in the stylesheet immediately before <span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="color: #000000;">&#8220;&#8221;</span>]]&gt;</span><span style="color: #000000;">&#8220;&#8221;</span></p>

<p class="'widget-content'"><span style="color: #000000;">If the tag cloud does not appear there may be two main issues at hand. The first issue is not having more than one label in your blog posts. The script requires multiple labels in order to work. The second issue is to make sure you don’t use quotation marks “” in your labels.</span></p>
<p>Once the bugs are fixed and you tag cloud is showing you may want to customize it. Everything is customizable; you just have to make minor changes.</p>

This is for Really Simple Syndication (RSS) which allows people to publish content and expose it to subscribers of your RSS feed. Currently over 80% of internet users do not know about or use RSS Feeds, but that is soon to change. There is no denying that RSS Feeds are soon to be replacing email and for good reasoning.</p>
<p>RSS feeds allow for embedded video and audio files, something email is not capable of doing. Email providers usually strip away the video or block it from getting into the recipients inbox. RSS Feeds allow subscribers to view video and audio within the RSS Feed without opening a web browser. RSS Feeds make it simple and easy to view and send video and audio content to other users.</p>
<p>Another great and compelling reason that RSS Feeds are replacing Email is because RSS Feeds always reach their destination, unlike Emails which have less than 60% delivery rate. This is a huge advantage that Email has been lacking in. Unlike Email there is no SPAM folder in RSS Feeds because everyone that subscribed to a RSS Feed want to get the information and hold onto it. Due to the fact that RSS Feeds have no SPAM makes it hard for Email to compete. Everyone hates SPAM because it is a waste of time and extremely annoying.</p>
<p>Don’t worry for those of you running to Google to learn more about RSS Feeds because this will take a while before it becomes common practice to use RSS Feeds. Right now to get an RSS Feed you need to subscribe to someone’s blog or other content management system. Soon though, it will be as easy to work with as regular email is. There will be RSS Outlook soon allowing you to create a message, add video or sound, format it, and then send it to one person or a group of subscribers via the RSS without publishing your content anywhere else.</p>
<p>A great appeal right now for RSS is that it is anonymous and you do not need to give out any personal information to subscribe to a Feed. This needs to and will change soon to allow for customized RSS Feeds that matches their users specific desires and interests. Also it will allow private RSS communication between individuals and groups of people SPAM free, with audio and video capabilities, and one hundred percent deliverability!</p>
