Tips for Header Tags and Page Title Keywords for the Search Engine Spider

by bosmol on December 16, 2009

The search engine spiders live to read pages that are keyword rich with original content and tons of incoming links. This system pretty much ensures that your website will rank well in the search engines and overtime rank for general, hyper competitive keywords.

Try not to repeat the same keywords in the title, unless it is variations of the word. The word positioning in the title does not have anything to do with the keyword phrases (long tail keywords) drawn from the title. It may help rank for a specific phrase, but then you are narrowing down your possible ranking variations in the search engines.

When writing your page title and your header tags try to use variations of your keywords, such as plurals or slang terms. This will show the search engines that you truly are trying to have natural flowing content, not content that looks the same just to rank for specific keywords.

Absolutely, SEO is all about making things look natural. Although it may take time to show up results but it'll ensure that you earn respect in Search Engines eyes so they won't treat your site suspiciously. Also one must keep the keyword density in mind when writing articles too.

very useful tips you have explained about writing titles for a website and header tags, use variations of keywords in a title of web page and header tag.The title tag is the most prominent thing in web content, so put only one keyword or keyword phrase in title tag, as search engine give more priority to that title and header tag that is optimize with appropriate keywords and words characters used in a tag..
