November 2009 Google Page Rank and Algorithm Update

by bosmol on November 3, 2009

Google has recently updated their Page Rank and their ranking algorithm. This is a good for some webmaster and a stressful time for others. Luckily the new update has shed some more insight as to how Google ranks websites and how to increase your websites Page Rank.

Looking into many websites I host and manage for search engine optimization clients, I noticed that newer pages seemed to show a sharp increase in page rank, while static older pages had lower page ranks. What this means is that having new, fresh, updated content on your website is a good thing. Google definitely loves to see new content on the web and the newer and more original it is the better off your website is.

Do not forget to make sure your content is keyword rich and you have properly research niche keywords for your website. Niche keywords will ensue that your site reaches the top of the search engines for these terms.

I believe…their update was going till December? I've still seen pages being ranked after November…and getting some good PR, yes recently pages have gained lots of PR and newer pages…and the ranking algorithm you're talking about would be Google Caffeine, correct? Have they released it yet? I don't have any recent update on it…but I heard that they haven't released it yet however for some days I am seeing changes in Google search like just today I noticed that I was seeing real-time results with a term I searched for…real-time yes twitter tweets in it. It was great and I think Google is slowly making changes.
